DESCRIPTION OF THE CONCERT:

An idea behind "Uwolnione Dźwięki" / "Liberated sounds" is to read music from images of musical notation. The project assumes then interdisciplinarity which connects sound and visual arts, old music and European history painting. In "Uwolnione Dźwięki" concert, show and performance merge and provide a modern journey through European history of culture. Chosen by Maciej Rychły, paintings by master painters contain a detailed musical notation, reading of which is a basis of the artistic event. In the concert, an artwork from the past becomes a "multimedial pill" which enables the musicians Mateusz Rychły and Maciej Rychły to create an extraordinary artistic action of artistic as well as education dimension.
